I'm sure I'll find something to like and I won't turn down the radio when one of the singles comes on. But since Divide my hopes and expectations of his music have fallen more and more over the years, even on the self-proclaimed singer-songwriter offerings. Maybe I'm just delusional and I want the Plus era back, because it sounded fresh and inspired, even if derivative, and I have good memories attached to it. Man can write hooks for days but it feels like he works to stay relevant or to be the biggest artist in the world, not the best.
I’m doing mine vertical because it hurts my brain otherwise x = - + ÷ 6 Autumn I think Subtract will probably drop over time but for right now it’s actually become one of my favorite recent “spring albums”
The song from F1 is pretty fun, has an all-star lineup of musicians on it too… Dave Grohl, John Mayer, Pino Palladino, Rami from Foo Fighters on keys
Of all the album released today I want to check out I decided to rip off the bandaid and to play the Ed record first. And... there are heartfelt moments (Old Phone, For Always) and glimpses of what once was (Opening) but most of these tracks sound like exercises in production and nothing more. It's pleasant on the ears but it doesn't leave you with the desire of hearing it again.
