To me songs like Visiting Hours show that he’s capable of doing a really haunting type thing when he wants to, so I’m hoping he’s serious when he says this is just unfiltered

I skipped around through that because I can be guilty of overplaying song snippets, and it seems more subdued than I probably expected based on Eyes Closed.

 

Wouldn't blame him, imo this trial has the potential to utterly fuck up the music industry on levels we haven't seen before.

new album is pretty chill, I listened once and a lot blended in together, but there was plenty of nice stuff. I'm sure it'll grow on me

The Hills of Aberfeldy is a stunner

 

Has anyone watched his new documentary? Started it last night. I used to be a big fan but became a bit of a hater these past few years, but the doc has warmed me up to him again. New album is pretty good though a bit cheesy at points.

 

Haven’t heard the album or seen the documentary yet, but found it interesting that Hills of Aberfeldy is apparently the only song from the “original” Subtract that stayed on after he overhauled it
