This is pretty immediately my favorite earl release. The shorter tack lengths really fit his style and the whole thing sounds like something he just needed to create; beneath it all there’s a sense of like creative urgency

    beautiful and chequered, the end

I’ve listened to this thing on repeat like 10 times today lol. It flows into it self so well. Still hard for me to process a lot of his lyrics, gonna have to sit down and have a very attentive listen.

On The Mint, favorite so far has been Ontheway! Loved the little guitar parts in that

That was dope as hell. Immediately replayed it after, the whole thing flows soooo well. The production is super crisp on this too

I dozed off while listening to this but that's good in this case, this thing is so easy going for me! I could listen to him all night on this.

So yep, my first impression is that all these songs are too short- another verse or two on each song and this would be great. The production is amazing, shame it's so wasted.

I think the length is perfect. I also think this album is close to perfect. I love how weird and brief and jazzy it is; I find it inspiring, and I’m so happy this is what he released after such a long absence. It’s a quick, visceral journey through raw emotion and processing, and it all feels purposefully and meticulously crafted.

This is great, this matches his style so effortlessly, every song is the right length, he goes in and gets out before it starts to drag, no need to stretch anything to a standard song structure

    This is like rap purity

I really loved this first listen. The short song lengths seem to work for him, though this does flow cohesively as if it were one long track. Whoever mentioned MF DOOM, I’m totally getting the same vibe. Production on this album is seriously fantastic— theres a timeless quality to it.
