I'm kinda lukewarm on this so far. not much sticking out so far, hope it grows

Yeah, this is up there with SRS. Fire In The Hole is phenomenal

  5. It’s great! Lobby, God Laughs, and Fire In The Hole are early favorites

In a somewhat unsurprising turn of events, this bangs.

Holy shit this was my strongest first impression for an Earl album since Doris, this is absolutely the sound I've been wanting him to go for. I can already see this having 10x the replay value that SRS and FOC had as much as I enjoyed those projects

Definitely in my top 3 by him with Doris and IDLS and that's just off one listen

Very good, as expected. Not Some Rap Songs level revolutionary, but it's a great album. Obviously need to spend time with the lyrics

the last 3 songs on here are absolutely incredible (especially "God Laughs"). kinda struggling with the rest honestly, the run from 4-7 is doing absolutely nothing for me

  10. Love "2010" in context. "Vision" sample is awesome

  11. Yeah, very good stuff. Only a couple of tracks that didn't immediately catch my attention and I'm sure that will change with multiple listens. Feet of Clay kinda fell off for me so I'm hoping this does the opposite

It's no Some Rap Songs, which is an all timer and one of my favorite recent examples of someone using their art to reckon with grief, but it's incredible in its own right. The production is just..unreal. Again.

This might be his project that translates the best to live performances. I can't wait for the tour next month with Bronson, Boldy and Al

The Free Earl movement online was MASSIVE.

Also we’ve reached the point where people didn’t know that and MY GOD I once again feel ancient haha

Tabula Rasa is my favorite track so far. Probably because it has that Wu Tang feel to it, haha!

I'm in the minority here, but Earl sounds like he's asleep on most of this.
