The fact that it says Donald Glover and not Childish Gambino probably means it's not a musical contribution but that would be a fascinating pairing to have on a song

On first listen this is a good Earl Sweatshirt album, not a great one. I kinda feel like I’ve heard him do all of this before, nothing new to see here

 

Agree it doesn't feel like a lot of "new", but it is pretty much exactly the type of thing I love most from him. Really really digging it

 

the beats on this are amazing, breath of fresh air after the Alchemist collab for me

Infatuation is great

 

second half of Live is really on some "how far can we take this mumble rap thing" lmao

 

Yeah, i'm loving the beats on this. Earl sounds more energised too... well, as energised as he can be anyway.

Digging this a lot, just wish it was longer.

Live, TOURMALINE, and exhaust are my favs on here. I wonder if the feature list was a prank

 

Love this. He’ll probably never top SRS for me but I think this is real great. Honestly love that it’s only 24 minutes, too.

 

Enjoying this and definitely need more time to digest it before I can compare it to anything else from him

Finished this today. Great stuff, maybe my favorite of his since SRS

 

I wish I liked this more. I enjoy about half of it (mostly the back half), but I'm not finding the connection to SRS that a lot of the internet is. Probably my least favorite of his since Feet of Clay, unfortunately.

It's fine, just not as exciting as I usually find his projects to be

 

I think this is a solid addition to his discography but I hope he mixes it up a little bit on whatever comes next. For me, SRS and Voir Dire remain his best work.
