    For real?

Battlefield 1 gameplay looks amazing. Same with Titanfall 2. So ready for both of those.

I'll put it to you this way, those two games were literally the only highlights of the whole thing imo. Everything else was typical Madden/FIFA overhype and blue balls in the form of behind the scenes videos. This was a total wet fart, a complete of time if there ever was one.

other than those 2, it was complete trash. They spent 10 minutes talking about Managers in FIFA. Ummm whattttt

Funny how they didn't even bother talking about the new NHL title. It's not as big as Madden or FIFA but it still sells pretty well.

Yep, never did I think we'd ever see something as bad as that but EA did it, which a much higher production budget to boot.

At this point, it's kinda hard to fault companies for things leaking out like that. All it takes is just one person to take something and throw it up on Twitter or what not and boom, you got a leak. If anything, maybe they need to make their NDA's a lot tougher like Disney or similar companies who will literally put the clap down on your ass if you spill out secrets.

I doubt EA is ever going to care about the criticism of today's event. Remember, the higher ups are what signed off on this thinking it was a good idea and we're talking about EA here overall, so they'll just ignore it and continue on their long standing tradition of bad conferences.

Wow, what a trailer. That caught my interest for sure. Never played the other two games though, heard lots of good things about II though. I guess I should try to pick up a copy at GS and play it before this comes out.

Ubisoft is almost always consistently the worst conference, but it becomes so bad halfway through that it turns into something at least a little entertaining.

I'd argue that Ubisoft has improved over the last few years while EA has regressed.

Ubi's are pretty good. South Park was my favorite reveal last year

Ubisoft are usually fine. EA is almost always my least favourite but now they're doing so many of these behind the scenes type videos instead of actually showing their games, they are easily the worst.

That could be. I think EA is just pretty regularly boring, and feels like the same conference every year. Like, they put the absolute minimum effort into it because they don't need to convince people to sell FIFA or a lot of their other stuff.

EA has turned pretty boring because they are relying solely on their big franchises and aren't really trying anything new besides the indie games.

Ubisoft is still constantly trying new franchises like For Honor, South Park and Watch Dogs so they are pretty entertaining.

That, to me, makes it way worse than any embarrassing thing Ubisoft comes out with.

For all the faults that Ubi's conferences have, it actually feels like they're talking to you and want you to be excited for what they have. In the past few years, EA's have felt more like a press briefing aimed at investors, with the year's event being the most obvious of them all. It's all business for them, with the people who actually use these products being an afterthought.
