Phil Spencer is awesome.

 

I always enjoy Jeff but he really shines when he interviews people, it's a shame he rarely does outside of E3.

Xavier Woods is just so much happiness during this interview and it generally gets me happy.

Super Mario Odyssey is IGN's E3 Game of Show - IGN Video

 

I'd be surprised if anyone picks anything else honestly.

 

My game of the show is Sushi Striker closely followed by Mario

 

i guess my game of the show was odyssey followed by dbz, although what im most hyped about was pokemon for switch even though we saw nothing of it and already kind of knew this would happen

Something like that is my top 5, I think. Despite the general lack of big surprises (although there were a few - TWO METROID GAMES), it was still a pretty decent E3 with a ton of good stuff shown off.

didn't feel like there was hardly any games this year. the industry as a whole just seems like it's maybe not as healthy as it was not too long ago.

 

I've never liked the types of games that Anthem is. But Anthem looks amazing tbrh. The world and gameplay look super fun. And it looks like there's a ton there. Which is the complete opposite of games like Division and Destiny imo.

I super hope they can pull it off. I'm excited as hell by that showing but I'm waiting to be disappointed.

 

There were tons of games and this year looks like it's going to be one of the best of all time in terms of games releases. Plus all of the consoles seem to be selling super well. I think the industry's doing very well right now.

I'll always get down on Evil With or a good RE style game. I haven't seen the TEW 2 trailer yet!

Nintendos doing big things. That's for sure.

 

That's because it isn't. 2016 was brutal for AAA games and indie games have increasing discoverability problems. Consoles sales are good, software is having problems. A lot of people are increasingly playing the same game for a long time because of the success and appeal games like Destiny have. That's why everybody is trying to make a Destiny-like or Hero Shooter.
