I feel like I'm a broken record with how many times I've been saying this phrase the last few days but "I'm baffled that people are still [linking Anthem to Andromeda as if the same people developed them both.]"

You could replace the words in the brackets with any number of things this E3.

 

Also Andromeda was great I don't care what people say

 

I disagree with the intense hatred that's been going around, but I don't love the game. It's just fine for me. But, outside of the human facial animations, the hyperbole surrounding it is 100% absurd.

 

It's a spiral of shit generated and fed to gain clicks

 

I don't 'hate' Andromeda. But at times, it felt super repetitive and a chore to get through. There was great moments sprinkled throughout, but all-in-all, compared to the greatness that the Mass Effect series delivered previously, it was super sub-par in my opinion.

 

And my bad about the dev team, I got the wrong impression.

 

I agree that it didn't live up to the series' highs and I haven't finished it myself either because I lost interest. Also I didn't mean to suggest that you, specifically, hated Andromeda, I was just talking generally about the vitriol being hurled at the game as if it's some Steam Greenlight abomination or something. I've mostly been frustrated by a lot of the takes this weekend that have been fueled by incomplete facts or people just trying to sound clever and pithy out of cynicism. It happens every year at E3. I didn't mean to take that out on you, I apologize.

 

I'm really interested to get my hands on Lawbreakers now that it's coming to PS4 based on what Cliffy B's been showing over the weekend. Looks like it could be fun.

 

I'm not cray right, Square Enix used to have conferences?

 

Yeah, every once in a while. Sometimes they skip years.

 

Yep, as recently as two years ago.

 

I guess "Oh God what is happening - SELL STUDIOS NOW - Oh God why did we green light FF7R - Oh thank god we have the Avengers game coming out" isn't a great conference

 

re: ME:A, I'm playing through it now and I don't really get the vitriol surrounding it. Sure I'm still waiting for the story to really click like the original trilogy, but in the meantime the combat is still fun and hands down the best in the series

 

For people wondering why it was announced for the Wii

 

Giant Bomb's late night shows are always one of my favorite parts of E3.

 

I'm at E3 and got to play Mario Odyssey. Same areas of gameplay everyone's seen, but it's so fun. Loving the the new dynamic with the hat.

 

I bought it and played until the first vault on Eos. I need to get back into it but so many things pull me away (Overwatch, Rocket League, Player Unknown). I just need to find the will to load it back up and I feel like i'll get right back into it.

 

Did we ever hear anything about fuckin REmake 2?? Wtf

 

Nope.

 

I'm not gonna lie that one DBZ fighting game looked like straight fire

 

It was my favorite game shown at E3 that didn't feature Mario.

 

I'm very hyped for DBZ. Really hope I can play as Goten but I doubt it.
