I mean, yes. But even the indie titles were uninteresting. AAA were 3rd party we knew about or the 1st party from last year. I dunno was hoping we'd get another "oh shit" conference...
It was fine, a good number of games I want to play but definitely a huge step down from the last couple of years. I think even some of the games I'm very interested in didn't have great showings and the announcements were weak. At least it was pretty much all games but it was super short and it made me less excited about Spider-Man.
I'm disappointed. Feel only SoTC was something "new" and no indies shown off. Didn't come away from any conference happy.
Bummed that I'm most excited for shadow of the colossus...a game I've played times on the previous two systems. But God damn that looked pretty
I think Microsoft was better this year and maybe even Ubisoft too. Hopefully Nintendo does well tomorrow or this E3 might leave me with a bad taste in my mouth.
I'm still excited for Nintendo tomorrow. Just give me Luigi's Mansion 3 OR Smash OR the Green/Pink joy cons in the US. Gimme gimme
Sony had a lot more games that actually interest me but they were all games we already knew about. No surprises at all. So hyped for Detroit tho. And I've never liked God of War but the new one looks great.
I can't imagine any other conference having so many games i want to play with no real bad spots still leaving me feeling so disappointed.
This felt a lot like a between big things E3. The last time we had one of those was 2012, the year before the current-gen consoles were announced. Ugh, THAT was the worst E3 of all time, ever, bar none. Sony spent 15 minutes on stage showing off that stupid Wonderbook crap that didn't even work. Everyone was holding back because the following year was going to be huge. Felt really similar after all the conferences this year too. Nowhere near as bad as 2012, but not as good as the last few. That said, can't fault any of the conferences for what they showed. It was all gameplay-focused with very little CGI trailer nonsense. That's really all you can ask for in E3 conferences, the games themselves are really all a matter of personal preference. Just because I personally didn't jump up and down over every single game doesn't mean it wasn't the kind of E3 you want to see. But I also didn't let myself get overhyped for anything either. Didn't want to set myself up for disappointment. Sounds like a lot of people in here didn't do the same. So yeah this wasn't the best year but it wasn't the worst either and there were some really cool games shown off.
Yeah it feels like every press conference this year was mostly just games back to back which is a first.
God of War seems very scaled back in this trailer and I hope the actual game has more of those wow moments I'm used to.
meh that was ok i guess. i liked that they were revealing game after game but nothing that really appealed to me. spiderman and god of war look cool but i dont know if ill end up buying them. im probably gonna get sotc since i havent played it in a very long time an hd port isnt that exciting. mvc lost me when they moved away from 2d fighting
Uncharted and the Horizon DLC were all I noticed. They have nothing else exclusive this year other than Ni No Kuni that I know of.
