The only thing that makes me doubt this date is the fact it's after Black Friday, which would be weird for one of their big holiday games.
I don't believe that will be the day. God of War has always launched in Spring and they will likely have Days Gone and probably Spider-Man for the fall. Could be wrong but that's just the feeling I have.
I don't think Days Gone is. Apparently it was reported last week or so that Days Gone would be a major focus of the presentation. If that's true, it's probably coming this fall. And I only say Spider-Man in fall because of GoW's history of Spring - specifically March - releases. I'm pretty sure literally all four other console titles in the series have released in March.
I'm not too hyped on Days Gone. Hopefully tonight can change my mind, but based on last years showing, it's a hard pass so far.
Rabbid is awesome. I can't believe I've been buying at least one Switch game every month since release. At this rate I'll be homeless in December.
I feel like this God of War is a winter game though, fits the vibes. Also I'm likely interested in Days Gone but hoping it won't have too much time in the press conference.
Spider-Man is something I could get on board with, need gameplay to convince me as I'm not the biggest fan of the character.
Spider-Man was confirmed to be this year, so something would have had to have changed from their initial decision.
