I'm hyped for PUBG

 

Bethesda's was alright. I lol'd at Take a Walk playing during Skyrim

 

lol there's been am absolute meltdown about the last night, uh last night.

The game is about a future where "progressivism has spiralled out of control and feminism 'won'"

Fuck me. His PR say he's changed a lot in the last three years and someone found a tweet from 10 months ago saying "the real racists are the ones who think racism exists" or something along those lines. Calling them degenerates in the process. Scumbag.

 

Fucking hell. Why waste a cool aesthetic on something so stupid?

 

Ok now I don't want to play the thing at all.

 

It was bad when people first dug this stuff up but it somehow keeps getting worse and worse. Fuck that guy.

 

Also, why the fuck would Microsoft partner with someone like that? That is a bad fucking look for them, like just gross.

 

maybe I'm just a Microsoft Stan so I completely expected that price for the Xbox 1X. I think the more aggressive price would be $449.

I mean Phil Spencer has been saying for months now that it's a premium console so it was always going to be a niche market. The mass audience still can have a Xbox 1S. I might look into buying one if any companies do some really good trade in specials.

 

also game wise nothing really jumped out to me but I still like to chalk that up to me just having a weird taste of games.

I'm gonna play so much PUBG tho.

Cool fact about the Xbox One having OG Xbox backwards compatibility. You can do a system link between an Xbox One, Xbox 360, and OG Xbox at the same time. That's nuts.

 

Yeah I mean I always thought people convinced it would definitely be $400, like no chance it would be more, were setting themselves up for disappointment big time.

 

Bethesda suckeddd. Paid mods again, that will surely go swimmingly.

 

Seems I didn't miss much when I went to bed last night for Bethesda. Stoked for new Wolfenstein though.

 

Expecting big things from Ubi and Sony today. Most curious to see Far Cry 5 and how they made a region of the United States into a Far Cry game world. Also I want to see what's become of God of War after that clunky-looking demo from last year. And my number one, has-to-happen thing would be that Insomniac's Spider-Man needs to get a date.

 

I've mainly been reading articles to catch up on stuff and Bethesda's conference was the first one I watched... I think i'll just stick to news.

 

Bethesda was the worse one, haha.

Suuuper excited for Sony later, that's been the easy highlight for me for the last like 3/4 years, hopefully they can give me another incredible conference.

 

I'm a PC/PS4 guy, so yeah I'm pretty psyched for what Sony has.

 

I'm curious to see how much focus Sony puts on VR. May have to pick up a headset as a birthday gift to myself in a few months.

 

At this moment I'm gonna say Microsoft > Bethesda > EA. Ubisoft will probably be pretty middling but I expect Sony to blow my mind when I go to their E3 Experience tonight.

 

I'm hoping/expecting very little VR from Sony.

That's what I'm looking forward to from Sony. Sure I'll have to sit through some Knack, Destiny and COD as well but hopefully they'll be brisk/interesting enough.

 

I'm really hoping for some Spiderman and God of War gameplay.

 

Spider-Man and God of War gameplay is a must, ESPECIALLY Spider-Man as we've still seen literally no gameplay from it yet one year later. Also we need release dates for both, although Spider-Man more than God of War, considering GoW probably won't be out until mid-Spring 2018 and they could always wait for PSX to date it. But those two appear to be ready for real progress updates.

Days Gone is supposedly going to be a big focus, maybe a release date for this fall based on that.

As for third parties, Destiny 2 will probably be there in some form and we'll definitely get a Call of Duty WWII gameplay premiere. Perhaps Ubisoft will be there with Far Cry 5 since they were at MS's with Assassin's Creed.

I fully expect Sucker Punch to debut whatever they're working on. Might be Sony's big first-party holiday 2018 release.

There will definitely be surprises, as there always are with Sony (Shenmue 1 & 2 Remastered? Lol). Going to be exciting.

 

Why lol after shenmue remasters? I'd say its possible, maybe not likely but def possible.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if God of War is coming out sooner than Spider-Man. I'm still hoping for GOW this year.
