Pretty straightforward from here: 1. Drop the One S price to $200 2. Announce 1 new first-party game for the rest of the console generation 4. Debut Scorpio 5. Profit(?) 6. Close Xbox Divison
I honestly wish I hadn't bought an Xbox One when I did back in 2014. Not only is the One S already way better, but the Scorpio is coming now too. I could've waited to play Sunset Overdrive and Halo 5, in retrospect.
one of my favorite things is when Jeff says where developers go after the game is done. He was talking about where all the skate people went after the series ended.
Yeah that's what I read too. I'm hoping it won't be too outrageous and you can still enjoy the game without throwing money into it because the one thing I hate buying in games is gear and mods.
Yeah it sounds pay-to-win-adjacent right now, I'm not too cool with that. I need to see how they affect the game before I decide whether to get it for sure or not.
That's about standard for an EA press conference haha. Sports and Shooters is pretty much all they do. So underwhelming.
I like how they said the three characters have "different playstyles". I'm sure what they mean is certain characters are used for certain mission types, like recon/racing/getaway. What I have way more fun picturing in my head is that the cars control differently depending on the characters. Like, Jimmy is a fucking burnout, so when he's behind the wheel the car always veers a little to the left because he's too much of a dumbass to get his alignment fixed and is always using one hand to swipe left on Tinder past girls that his ego tells him he's better than. Jimmy will die alone. Or something like that.
Only EA has happened. I believe I'm familiar enough with your tastes at this point to tell you that you will be similarly underwhelmed haha
A Way Out looks awesome. On board for it. MS Predictions: - $399 price for Scorpio - Playerunknown's Battleground Announced for Game Preview - Cuphead given a good gameplay trailer (released before end of July 2017) - Crackdown 3 release on launch day with Scorpio (October 27th) - New Halo teased. Not Halo 6, smaller off-shoot co-developed by 343i and an outside studio - New Battletoads - OG Backwards Compatibility in SOME fashion (maybe a selection available as digital download in Game Pass or something) - Below is given release date (released before end of August 2017) - Fable 4 tease closes show, coming 2018
Agreed. Halo needs something new. Take a step back from mainline series and do a few off-shoots like Halo Wars, with outside studios that 343i manages.
Itd be pretty cool to be the only human stranded in a colony that the flood took over. Perhaps taking place post Halo 3, where the flood have ended up becoming stronger, and many new forms. Then have the end of the game tease their involvement for Halo 6. Hopefully they eradicate the Promethians somehow, I hate them lol
I need Cuphead release date tomorrow. Also would be happy with a new Halo game if the campaign looked interesting. Hoping to see a bit more of Sea of Thieves too and Bioware's new game (I've forgotten the title already, ha). I'd be very happy with a new Fable although I wouldn't call it Fable 4. Mostly I'm hoping for some new games though that preferably aren't shooters or online based.
