Battlefront II looked really good for what it is, and I'm excited for the people who like these games and were looking forward to it. But I don't care who you are, that was a shitty conference, and a bullshit move to end on 30 MINUTES of this game.

 

No it definitely was a lame conference. One of the worst they've ever done. Battlefront 2 looked really good but just ending on a 30-minute match after barely showing many other games at all is weak. Microsoft must have really backed the truck up to get the gameplay reveal of Anthem, maybe EA had planned to reveal it during their own conference originally and didn't have anything else to show once the deal with Microsoft got made? So they just resorted to showing a full match of Battlefront 2? Either way, it wasn't a good look for them. Makes it seem like they don't have anything going on beyond like 3 games and their sports lineup.

 

I wish Microsoft and Bethesda were today.

 

Honestly I wish EA had just been tomorrow at this same time. But yeah, it would've been nice to have them all on one day regardless of which day it was.

 

I am excited to see more of Anthem tomorrow.

 

I hope it doesn't disappoint.

 

Same. If it's really as much like Destiny as has been rumored I'm really excited for it.

 

I hope theres a Destiny 2 alpha announced. I'd like to try it out. I am on the fence about that game.

 

It would be sick if they surprise-announced another Alpha at the Sony conference on Monday. I don't know if they will though, mainly because I'm expecting the Beta to be super limited, like only what we've seen so far plus PVP and maybe a heavily restricted chunk of the European Dead Zone patrol area on Earth. I think they went way overboard with the Destiny 1 Beta and they aren't going to want to show very much again pre-launch. So if they aren't going to have a super big Beta, I don't think they'd do an Alpha because it would be repetitive.

 

If you mean the lady presenting before the gameplay, that's Shiva from The League. That's how I know her at least.

 

No Hennig/Visceral tease is breaking my heart.

 

I know, it's sad. Oh well, hopefully next year..

 

At this point I'm not holding my breath that any of these other Star Wars games are ever coming out. Visceral's has been in development for over two years and they have nothing to show for it? Hard to believe.
