I didn't personally work on those releases, but I believe they perform best on our streaming channels
@irthesteve any info on 4k Bruce Lee films? I have the Criterion Blu-ray set. I’m hoping a 4K set comes out soon, as I’m passing on the individual Enter the Dragon 4K releases.
I just don’t have the nostalgia for it. I re-watched the VHS tapes of the first two throughout my childhood
Figured I’d pop these in here before I take them to eBay to see if any fellow collectors wanted to buy any/help a poor man out with some bills. feel free to tell me to go F myself also
$65 for the Shout 4K release of Hard Boiled made me genuinely balk when I saw it, that’s a hard ask despite what looks like a great release otherwise.
I’d assume that’s the MSRP that comes way down everywhere, though realistically I can see people paying if it didn’t given how pent up demand is for that one

Yeah it's no different than what Vinegar Syndrome, Severin or any of those charge. I don't see it being completely outlandish. I've definitely paid more for less.
I mean I’m in if it’s a great transfer don’t get me wrong. I bought that JFK set too but don’t remember paying 65 for it, could have been through a shout sale
The only boutique releases I’ve paid more than, say 50 bucks for a single movie, has been a handful of Second Sight LEs and that Severin release of Four Flies on Grey Velvet, it’s a pill I’m willing to swallow, just very rarely lol. glad they got some nice special features for this release of Hard Boiled, it’s hard to say no even at that price
The Grindhouse 4K set of The Beyond most recently I think cost me close to 70? But worth every penny.
Yeah but that’s Grindhouse, always actually worth the money since they always put out quality stuff for it. Shout on the other hand… mmm not as much.
