I’m hoping my Nice Guys comes in sometime soon, got it back ordered through Diabolik.

trying to not pick up too much during this upcoming criterion sale, the only two musts are the Anora and Sorcerer 4Ks

 

B&N Criterion sale is officially on! Picked up Anora, Yi Yi, Drive My Car, The Vanishing, and Wall-e. Depending on how much OT I pick up at work next week I might make another order.

 

Happy best time of the year. Probably going to run to B&N after work and try to get Anora, Seven Samurai, Godzilla vs Biollante and Sorcerer. Then end up leaving with a bag full of others...

I forgot this one was a whole month long so I’m gonna wait til next paycheck to snag some stuff

 

Why wait when you can be financially irresponsible like I usually am and buy stuff each paycheck.

 

I still haven't watched the movies I bought the last time I did the criterion sale...

 

First of likely many B&N purchases. For the month. Sorcerer was sadly wiped out.

 

My B&N doesn't even stock criterion which is a bummer.

 

same, have to drive 45 minutes to find one that does.

 

I wish mine didn’t. The one that is a 10 min drive from my work stocks them and actually has a decent sized criterion collection.

 

Today was a busy day.

 

Green Room is so good. I’ve never seen Sorcerer, need to get on that.

 

My first haul came today. So excited.

 

Sorcerer was a blind buy for me, but two of my friends claim it’s a masterpiece so I had to see for myself.

 

My brother has said the same thing and I’ve seen a lot of hype around it on the criterion subreddit. You’ll have to let me know what you think.

 

I know Steve has explained that physical media art sells better with a bunch of celebrities plastered on the front, but this “Feel-Good Movie” ass art is hilariously bad.

 

That art is really bad, they probably didn't have much to work with but I didn't think the artist nailed it

 

Me and my buddy went to the nearest B&N and got some cool stuff. We both picked a movie out for each other to get, he picked out Querelle for me and I picked out Thief for him. I also got Beyond The Valley of The Dolls and How To Get Ahead In Advertising, I already bought Sorcerer ahead of time prior to the sale so I was safe there but I couldn’t find The Wiz in 4K and I was sad.

 

Day of The Dead 4K coming? Based

 

Honestly shocked it's taken this long tbh.

 

I've got like 200 dvds/blu rays that I can't bring myself to get rid of.
When I worked at Game Stop back in the day and they decided to pull the plug on them, my store had a sale buy 2 get 4 free.
With the power up discount plus my store discount I could get 6 dvd's for like $6. Bought so many it was insane lol

 

If you ever want to sell some to people who will care, post em in the thread and we’d all be happy to take a look!
