It is a good job that Shout Factory doesn't deliver to the UK otherwise I would be bankrupt.

 

Hadn't bought many blu-rays the past few months, so I loaded up on some backorders/pre-orders

Got A Nightmare on Elm Street, Zodiac, Addams Family Values, Signs and The Sixth Sense all pre-ordered

Got Sweeny Todd and Sudden Death in the mail already.

And I've got the Second Sight Green Room and Possessor 4Ks back-ordered, as well as their Blair Witch release coming in November.

We feasting friends.

No Country For Old Men 4K finally coming folks.

Eastern Condors looks like it'll be nice too

 

No Country is an all-timer for me. My Blu copy has looked great for years but I'll be glad to see what 4K brings to the table. Hopefully more than... a coin flip.

 

Had the house to myself today, had to get some movies in.

 

Shout! dropped several crazy pre-orders today. Wallace & Gromit and Whitest Kids U Knows. Damn, man!

 

@irthesteve Any info you have on the Whitest Kids set? Blu-ray? DVD? etc.?

Can you say why WKUK is just DVD and no Blu Ray?

 

I imagine most of that show was shot on SD digital no?

 

Season 1 for sure, but I think they moved HD after that.

 

I didn't work on this one so I don't have any insider knowledge, but knowing nothing I would point to the main reason you don't see TV on Blu-ray anymore is that it's incredibly cost prohibitive for a format that still sells way worse than DVD

WKUK was on fuse when I was in like, 8th grade I think? And I was so stoked when they moved to IFC and it was less censored
