As I was reading Out of the Silent Planet by C.S. Lewis, I serendipitously came across the referent to the title "Thoughts That Float on a Different Blood." It was a pretty great moment to discover that on accident.

 

Was just listening to some Counting Crows and decided to revisit Dustin's rendition of "Round Here." My god, it's so good.

 

Having a recorded copy feels so good. I love that song so much.

 

Looks like Dustin Kensrue will have a 7" released on Black Friday/Record Store Day entitled, More Thoughts That's Flot On A Different Blood. Supposedly it will be red.

 

Maybe a few more cover songs huh

More Thoughts That Float On A Different Blood came in the mail today. These other two tracks are just as great. I'm glad we have them.

However, the digital download card only lets you download the album, not the two bonus tracks that come on the 7". Disappointing.

 

That's disappointing. You should email and ask if they can be made available.

 

I sent an email out a little bit ago. Hopefully I'll hear something by the end of the week. KRM is usually a little slow getting back, but they have at least replied to most, if not all my emails I've sent.

 

That cover of "Hide and Seek", might be his best. It's incredible.

Nice. Gonna get to see both Dustin and Thrice this year.

 

Saw them last time they toured. I really thought Andy would do a proper solo Ep. Dustin was also fantastic solo live.

 

Also saw both these guys live last year (at different shows). Dustin put on an amazing show. I've uploaded some videos in one of these threads.

 

Never got into Manchester or Andy. Where should I start?

 

Start with Mean Everything To Nothing for sure. Don't listen to what anyone else tells you.

I was lucky to be at one of the shows for this album, but I really wish that solo tour was hitting California. Although hard to complain when their bands are playing together at the new House of Blues.
