Yeah i'm actually excited that its shorter. I'm here for a short intense nail biter.

 

And that's not that short.

 

That is a weird decision from the director who made an almost 3 hour superhero movie. In almost all cases, the runtimes of those genres would be reversed.

 

He might be the reason we have 2 1/2 hour super hero films

 

Just found out this will be showing in 70mm at the theater I work at. Stoked!

Really looking forward to the Zimmer score.

 

Rewatching Memento and really wish Nolan would go back and use David Julyan as his composer sometime. This score is incredible.

Edit: Not that I don't like Zimmer.

I keep forgetting about this. Should be awesome. Not one Nolan movie I haven't enjoyed.

 

I think a weak link in both Insomnia and Prestige is the score isn't memorable. I really like what Zimmer does with his movies. Need to re-watch Memento. Can't remember how the music was.

 

I'm probably gonna end up driving down to City Walk and seeing this in 70mm IMAX for my 2nd viewing. Went there to see Interstellar in the same format, and it was incredible. Feels right.

My nearest IMAX still doesn't show up as having Dunkirk yet. I'm getting sad.

 

"Divisive" is an interesting description. Looks like it won't be character-driven. Minimal dialogue. And YET, everyone so far is in agreement that its edge-of-your-seat intense and thrilling.
