What a blast of a movie this was.

Shout out Jarnathan.

 

Really didn't enjoy this outside of Pine and Rodriquez's dynamic

I mean, it looked like they were all doing it at gunpoint. But this has been going on since the movie returned. Seems like a pretty silly thing to get mad about.

 

Was anyone mad when Tom Cruise did it for Maverick?

more when Courtney and Melissa did it for Scream VI?

 

Maybe I’m an asshole, but, for the love of god, just stop.

 

I don't have a problem with it. I just think it's dumb and they all looked so uncomfortable haha

(I get their point, but it's said in a very "the world is intentionally doing this to fuck with me" way, when it's more of a "hey, the movie business is fucked, please help us" thing.)

 

I guess I could see elitist (kind of a stretch, but not every region has the greatest theaters or prices) ... but ableist? Really?

 

going to the movies can be covid safe, you can wear a mask and go at off times

 

I don't want to downplay anyone's feelings, but this feels to me like the kind of thing that takes away from larger and more urgent problems, and undermines them, because people look at this and think "this is the kind of nonsense that people are being offended by".

 

Yeah, like there are many many valid actual ableist things and problems with a lot of movie theaters not having proper equipment/CC for hard of hearing and wheelchair/disable access, etc.

 

The fight scenes were all surprisingly very well done. Best parts of the movie.

Yeah, I think it's coming to P+ / VOD on 5/16.

 

I finally had a chance to watch this and I absolutely loved it. The characters were awesome and the humor was great throughout, and I thought it struck the very delicate balance of being funny but not at the expense of the material - something we honestly don't get very often even though technology has made it easier to do fantasy on screen. I got surprisingly emotional at the end with the resolution to Michelle Rodriguez's storyline, and I absolutely was not prepared for Hobbit Bradley Cooper. Phenomenal movie.

This was pretty fun and I swear the painting was Paul scheer but he said it was not.

 

Just watched on Paramount+. This was fun as hell
