I like that it was more poignant than funny. Like, you expect it will be a yuk yuk fest because of how the scene is shot. But it’s like oddly touching.

 

Liked this well enough. Main cast and humor was great, but by the end I could feel the length and the story/villains were really boring. There’s enough fun happening around it though to make it enjoyable which probably mirrors a real D&D campaign and while I probably won’t watch this one again, I’d definitely watch another movie in this world.

 

This was really really fun, it's nice to get a new fantasy movie that just plays it straight and doesn't try to reinvent the wheel for the most part. Awesome cast and visuals and genuinely funny humor

 

I didn’t feel the length at all and actually thought it went by rather quickly.

 

My not caring about the story caused a lot of my feeling the length. By the time they enact their plan, I knew where it was going but also knew there were like 3 more set pieces I saw in the trailer that hadn’t happened so it really was only the 3rd act that felt long.

 

Really caught me off guard. That’s a big star!

I’m dumb as hell too, every time Doric was on screen I thought “she kinda reminds me of the actress from IT, I wonder what she’s been up to” and that’s who it is

 

Evil wizard reminded me of the flat woods monster

 

Did anyone else get the little prerecorded bit before the movie with the cast saying “thanks for seeing this in a theater”

Yeah and Hugh Grant looked like he didn’t want to be there

This was fun. Took itself exactly as serious as it needed to and let it try to capture the random of fantasy with the rest.

 

Oh, I was on the other side of that. I was like "why are they doing this? This is super weird and they all look uncomfortable"

 

I just love the movies
