Comeback Kid, my first time seeing them

BREAK THE SILENCE. WAKE THE DEAD

 

Episode one was alright. Lots of build up. The costumes and visuals are very good.

 

Not sure how I feel about the first episode.

 

thought it was just fine but it felt like a show that would be a scyfy original series

 

Thought it shows promise. Visuals were decent for a tv show.

 

Love this, love how dense it is and how it trusts the audience. I have faith these build ups will pay off they’ve been working on this for a very long time

 

You owe me one post. I want what once was mine.

 

This starts off with such a huge info dump. Reminded a bit of how the Lynch Dune does that too.

I'm not fully hooked yet, but willing to give it time, especially since it's only a six episode season. The production design is definitely great.

 

The second episode was much better imo

 

I think it was better but not by a ton. The politics stuff is just kind of inert for me, but the genetic memory sequence was really neat.

 

Flashback heavy episode this week but I’m finally starting to get into it and care about these characters.

 

Still can't decide if I like this show. Everyone is so unlikeable. Who am I supposed to care about? The sword trainer?

 

I feel like six episodes isn’t a lot for a season, especially when it has this big cast of characters and political intrigue.
Hopefully season two is longer.

 

I’m rooting for Princess Ynez and some of the acolytes seem alright, but yeah, lots of unlikable characters in this.

 

More episodes too, 8 instead of 6 like the first season.

 

Did the full season end up worth watching? I watched the first episode then just…forgot to come back
