perfectly fine with Walken but honestly think Nic Cage would have done a fantastic job

 

I thought Walken was perfectly fine. I’m not familiar with the books but was there more required of him?

 

My only problem is he just kind of pulls you out of the moments. awkward

 

we're not getting the man on the big screen many more times soak it in!

 

I didn’t love him but didn’t hate him in the role.

I also started seeing Dune in everything after watching both films.

I also don't think Walken was bad, there just wasn't much for him to do. It's not as easy role to cast, but I also feel like Cage would have brought it to life a little more (although some people would hate that lol). Fuck it, get Anthony Hopkins in there

 

Stargate 1994 is also kind of Dune

 

I love that movie so much

 

It's weird. I was obsessed with that movie as a kid, but some reason never got into the tv shows. I didn't like that they recast my dude James Spader.

 

Wish they didn't kill off Duncan in the first film seeing him ride a Shai Hulud would have given me a stiffy.

It was god damn spectacular, can't wait for Dune 2 in Imax on Tuesday.
