It's actually not bad; for super fans of the book/story, it's fun breaking down the different scenes/shots shown in the trailer
Never cared for 'reaction' youtube but I do like a good trailer or movie breakdown, people like Heavy Spoilers for example doa great job at pointing out things I might miss.
Reactions are goofy and dumb. Thoughts or theories about a trailer can be good. But people gasping is not entertaining.
Feyd in particular looks scary, with his black teeth. Florence in her full metal face mask thing looked incredible
God this looks so damn good. I haven't been this excited for a movie in quite a while. Echo those who want part 1 to return to IMAX before this comes out. I really wanted to read it first so I missed it the first go around in theaters. I kind of feel like they will too
Trailer was great. Movie looks incredible. Such a weird tagline though. Taglines are weird in general anyway, and I don't even see why they're really needed anymore. Plus, the way the words were spaced out gave me a few seconds to wonder if they were actually gonna use "Long Live The Muad'Dib" as the tagline in the trailer, which would've been bonkers.
The fact they used IMAX cameras for the entire film will look fantastic on the big screen. I could totally see them releasing Part One again for a limited run of a few weeks in the months before. Part One did 400 million total domestically; I could see Part Two doing $600-800 million easily. Country already familiar with story and characters, country is fully open, greater star power (Walken! Pugh! Sedouyx! Butler!), exclusive to theaters, increased level of promotion, a more action-oriented story, etc.
