I just Googled "facecard" and apparently it's Tiktok slang for facial attractiveness. I feel unclean now.
I will admit when Paul drank the blue stuff and then came back I muttered to myself "oh classic hero's journey"
Happy to say I did like it a little more on rewatch. But still has its flaws with some pacing in the first bit and the acceleration at the end; also agree with Walken being miscast. I did like the highs some more, though, and the emotional beat at the end hit way harder. Still believe I lean more towards Part One but would rate them equally; kind of an Evil Dead (2013) and Evil Dead Rise deal for an odd comparison. Ferguson is definitely the standout, IMO.
Holy shit this movie rocks. Saw on the biggest screen I could. Pretty much everything about this in terms of visuals, sound design, soundtrack is all perfect. Some weird casting with Walken but his roll wasn't huge so no big deal. Wish this was an hour longer.
"You should be kissing my feet." "You'll be lucky if I let you keep your head." - basically the only line of Walken's that I remember
