I’m sorry. I’m high and couldn’t for the life of me remember the name. I have dishonored my ancestors once again.
How the F*** was this only $190 million, including marketing, while Dial of Destiny was $300 million? This looks 10 times as expensive as Dial of Destiny
Harrison Ford's salary and extensive de-aging for the first 30 minutes of the movie probably cost a lot. Dune was shooting on location and extensively storyboarded and mapped out - with every scene and shot ready to go when it was time to film. Meanwhile, I would imagine Dial being much more chaotic on set and script changes being made on the fly causing disruptions to work flow + COVID shutdowns.
Got tickets to see this saturday in dolby cinema. I've seen some of the reviews, but not many. Want to go into this with as little information as possible. Loved the first film and thought it was the best film of 2021 so here's to this one being just as great.
Seeing this in a couple hours. I’ll probably finish my rewatch of Part 1 right before I need to head out. I feel like I’m going to lose my mind watching Part 2. Also I feel like I’m going to cave and buy that freaking bucket if they actually have any.
It' only $25, and considering a large popcorn is like $17 it's only a small markup for a lifetime of pleasure
