I love how much marketing they’re pushing for this - so many premieres and talk show appearances (helps when you have one of the most insanely stacked casts ever). Overall buzz seems much higher than for the first film; hopefully this leads WB to greenlight Dune:Messiah

Yeah, not sure how announcing an actor for a movie is a major spoiler.

 

I also don’t know how it’s a spoiler, but if it was supposed to be a surprise then I’m bummed they ruined it. It’s being reported everywhere now so it’ll be impossible to avoid at this point

 

I haven’t read the book or know anything beyond the first movie. How is a casting a spoiler? Or just the fact that they’re in it at all?

 

I've read the books and even I dont know who she'll play. I have a guess but thats about it.

 

It sounds like it’ll probably be a character that would have more of a role in the third movie. I have not read the books to know though.

I bought the book to start like two summers ago, I read like 30-40 pages and haven't finished lol. I just haven't been in a mindset to read books in a while. I'd like to read them eventually though.

 

Sorry, it’s moreso that if you’ve read the books, and can piece together who is who based on already credited casting, it’s pretty obvious who she’s playing. Would’ve been cool to have seen that happen as a surprise

 

I read half of it and then saw the movie when it came out. I didnt finish the second part until a few months ago.

 

If she’s playing who I think she’s playing there’s a major age difference so not sure what to think

 

The good thing is there are 8000 people in this movie so you'll forget she's in it

 

feels like the character will be mostly CGI since they need to have a very measured and calculated poise

The romance is gonna be interesting
