I would've waited until Friday in IMAX but we have family coming in last minute so that's why I pivoted
Tempting but I think I'm going to not watch any promo material for this movie. These reactions have got my hyppppped though
I was gonna go upstairs to watch it on my shitty laptop, but now I think I should do it on my small phone screen, in your honor.
I’m punished for seeing Project Hail Mary early. Instead of this trailer I got masters of the universe
I haven't been this hyped for a movie (other than Part 2) honestly in decades. It does seem like this is going to be some kind of reimagining that combines both Messian and Children of Dune. Whatever it is, if they stick the landing, this will definitely be one of the all time great movie trilogies.
No, I know. It was just jarring to have the climax of the previous film undone right away in the trailer. Movie still looks awesome, though.
I’m glad I know nothing about the books so I can just take these movies in fresh. A trilogy where the first two movies are the first book split up, and then the third (simply called “part three”) is perhaps a blend of two follow-up books, is an interesting adaptation choice if true.
I’m guessing we may be seeing some flashbacks that fill in gaps, then the majority of the film will take place further down the line. Guessing flashbacks will be where Paul has hair.
I think Timmy and Z are in a flashback when they’re talking about baby names. Just my assumption cuz later it cuts to our girl looking mad again.
Adapting the third book is too strong of a word. Just incorporating a few select plot threads from it that would be fun to see play out in these movies, since it really does seem like Denis at least plans to be done with it after this. There's just a few characters who can't really have a proper ending in this if they don't reach a little further ahead than just the 2nd book.
