Yeah I think I enjoyed 1 more than 2; slower and more contemplative.

 

I still need to do a 1+2 full watch as if it's 1 movie

 

I think I like Part 2 a little more, but could be from actually seeing it in theaters.

 

Yeah, seeing Part 2 in IMAX was incredible. I only saw the first movie on Max (not to be confused) so it was naturally less of a spectacle.

I find it odd that everything still refers to part 3 as an adaptation of Messiah when the ending of part 2 suggests Chani will be taken in a significantly different direction than the novel.

 

Probably because it's an adaptation of Messiah regardless of changes.

 

Will be interesting to see if they even use Messiah in the final title. I’m sure someone in WB marketing will push to just keep it Dune: Part 3.

 

Denis will definitely fight them on it at least. He's been very adamant that it is not Part 3 in his eyes. But WB sucks, so you're probably right. lol
