Finally saw this recently… and I was pretty underwhelmed by it. Probably my least favorite Denis film.

I’ll probably watch it again before the next one, otherwise I’d probably never bother to see it again.

 

Why?

 

Nothing impressed me or moved me in any way. I didn’t think it was awful or anything I just didn’t find anything engaging in it. Nothing grabbed me. Nothing made me care about the characters or their story.

 

This is how I felt too. Definitely glad others enjoyed it but I felt like I was just watching things “happen” but didn’t particularly care for where they went.

It’s certainly well made in all technical aspects. But I felt nothing.
