Yeah, I read it wasn't from the book, so they just made an original monster for like, a one minute scene where it did nothing. Truly a big lipped alligator moment.

 

i had just finished the book basically when i watched so i was very much in wtf! mode

v creepy v cool

 

In fact, the sweating mouse also took me out of the movie briefly for similar reasons, as my brain started to wonder if this was a future toy that the marketing team wanted to sell little Timmy. I know that's cynical.

Well, it's not like I actually thought it was marketing anyway; I didn't think Denis would've put something in without a clear reason. It was just a passing thought.

Still no idea what that spider-thing is about.

Maybe it’s a callback to Enemy and Denis just loves giant spiders

 

Pretty healthy so far; fairly certain it'll hit $400 million by the end of it's run

 

Seeing this in theaters again tomorrow. Can't wait.

 

I was under the impression that the Baron's spider creature was
the result of them experimenting on/torturing Yueh's wife but its still left pretty open to interpretation so who knows.

also loved this movie and cannot wait for pt 2

I watched a few minutes of it a few weeks ago; he seemed to generally enjoy it

 

I would imagine his sympathies lie with the wrong characters.

I’m just amazed at how childish his voice makes him since

 

It makes sense that he would review a movie about a really dry place like a desert seeing as how his wife, ah you know what nvm

Ben Shapiro‘s review almost having a million reviews is what fucking kills me.
