i didnt know until yesterday that this was shot for 3d too. by now have they just streamlined these things for simultaneous production for blockbusters?

Apparently the landing in Arrakis, and the actors walking across the tarmac/field to greet Duncan and Thufir was actually filmed in Hungary

I was really hoping Baron would die before the end of the first film. Not looking forward to seeing him at all in part 2.

needed more Baron tbh, more scenes of him disgustingly eating food and chilling in his oily mud bath and floating around like a thicc king

 

Thankfully we're going to see a lot more of him in Part 2; excited to see how they cast/show the Emperor as well

 

The scene of him hanging onto the ceiling like a scared little fly on the wall made me dislike him even more. I really hope Paul gives him a slow death in part 2. Denis definitely succeeded in making me despise the villain. Kudos

I know nothing about the Emperor other than he feared House Atriedes’ army so he automatically reminds me of Frieza in dbz. A space warlord that was afraid of losing power so he tried to eradicate the opposing army. I look forward to what’s in store with that plot line in the sequel.

That would be a baller move, haha; then again, seeing pics of him now, his face is slightly too pretty-boy/not menacing enough to be emperor. Then again, I doubt there's any character look that proper makeup/prosthetics can't achieve

 

I also keep thinking about who they should cast to play Feyd-Rautha and I keep coming back around to the obvious choice being Adam Driver.
