Holy. Fucking. Shit. they did the impossible?! My word. Maybe the most fun I’ve had since seeing Fury Road. I loved this so much.
whats wrong with the bagpipe? lol I loved stuff like the bagpipe and the bull and other things that were still recognizable to us. it helped bridge the gap so to speak. like this is still US just 8,000 years from now.
I really enjoyed this movie. First experience back in a theater since the pandemic started. It was almost a full audience and everyone clapped when it was over.
Same; my theatre was packed. Stupidly several people got up to go and do whatever, all throughout the film
Yo this was soooooo good. IMAX was amazing for it. That ambush section was crazy. The shields looked cheesy during trailers, but they were so cool in execution.
I liked this a lot. I think my showtime was supposed to have that new on screen subtitles feature but it didn't so I feel like I missed out on a lot of the quieter dialogue, will rewatch on Max eventually. This has such a stellar cast and then like most of them died? So they're not in part two??
Well did I miss something in that Brolin’s character died off screen? I feel like he might be alive. Haven’t read the books though. Also him being alive is very unlikely.
I want to learn more about the Harkkonen home world Geidi Prime; that planet looked fascinating and brutal. Looked Blade Runner-esque. Not quite sure what the purpose of draining the blood was, but it looked crazy, haha
so they havent done any production on part 2 yet at all ? what is the soonest we could realistically even get it - 3 yrs ?? at this point for me that really sucks
Timmy and Zendaya mentioned in an interview they've already been asked to make sure they have certain calendar time set aside for part 2, provided the movie is greenlit, so I assume they have to be referencing next year sometime. So yeah fall 2023 is the earliest we'll get part 2
