This sincerely seems like it has the potential to be a classic. Have a strong inclination that Denis is leaning into more blockbuster/mainstream pacing and set pieces, while keeping the true cerebral nature of the story from the book. Think it’ll please a lot of audiences

It should do a lot better financially than 2049 did, which should help WB in their decision to proceed with the sequel. All that star power assures the movie most likely will be a hit

I read the book a few years back and still am not gonna have a clue what the fuck is going on and I’m still gonna love it

 

I listened to the audio book last fall, which really helped me get through the story quicker. I’ll probably listen to it again, up through the water of life scene. I really hope that is where they end this film; it would be weird to start the sequel with that and then do the 2 year time jump, haha
