Just open a credit card, buy the largest tv and sound system you can find, and join SAG for screeners

 

My dad works for SAG and the screeners that he always gets are mediocre DVDs with watermarks every 15 minutes or so. Pass

 

The ones that leak are almost always poor quality. It isn't even worth watching sometimes.

 

The communal theater experience can be great for comedies, horror, and event movies (like Avengers, etc.), but I would typically opt for 10am or 10pm showings on weekdays for most other types of movies.

 

Wonder when they'll start up the marketing machine again for this

lol right now Oct. 22 is the release date for this, The French Dispatch, Last Night in Soho and Jackass 4. No way all of those stick, right? That would be insane.

 

why push it back at this point?

I did four movies in a day once, it was actually pretty exhausting; I’d definitely see all four in a weekend but at least break it up into two days.

 

Most I ever did in one day at the theater was three.

 

I did all three LOTR movies at a theater in one day. There were breaks in between.

 

Some spoilers, but it's sounding amazing. Very likely we'll get a sequel
