I didn't hate Disney for charging $30, I hated them for making people pay for the opportunity to pay for a movie.
Also the whole “working with the Chinese government’s propaganda outlets to film the movie in a province where a genocide is currently underway” thing
there’s a very good chance this will clean up award nominations too, which would essentially guarantee the sequel
I don’t know why a lot of y’all are expecting a dope looking adaptation of the best selling sci-fi novel of all time to under perform (Covid notwithstanding). Twenty million copies + whatever the sequels have sold means there’s a huge audience for this. The cast is also stacked with crowd draws. I’m immensely lukewarm on the book but this trailer makes the movie an absolute must see.
under normal circumstances, it would fill the void we would have had this year with no star wars or MCU this winter. however, with covid i wouldn’t be shocked if this doesn’t come out 2020
So fucking excited, it looks really great. About to start reading Dune Messiah because I'm craving more.
Knew it was coming, but fuckkkkkk....almost a whole year. I'll pay $50 to watch it tonight. Let me give you money
