Started reading the book like two months ago and accidentally let my library check-out expire, but I just finallyyy got it back, so I'm going to finish it before watching/potentially spoiling anything for myself.

 

Are we really expecting this to still come out this December?

 

I mean, sure, depending on how Tenet does over the coming weeks & if WW84 keeps holding onto that October date. Nothing's certain, obviously, but I wouldn't be super shocked.

 

Just finished the book, loved it. What's the general feeling for this? Do people think this movie will be good or?

 

It's directed by Denis Villeneuve (Blade Runner 2049), with a really strong cast, plus Hans Zimmer score. I'd be shocked if it weren't great, which I believe is the general consensus around here.

Finally got around to watching Jodorowsky’s Dune....not sure if the directors are overshooting the influence of the storyboards, but wow. Can’t believe the amount of influence on Sci-FI the people who worked on the boards and ideas are
