After having watched Blade Runner 2049 and being blown away by how amazing it was I feel like if anyone can pull Dune off as a movie its Denis Villeneuve. I honestly just don't see Dune being the type of box office success it would need to be to justify it's budget and what it's going to cost. I hope I am wrong. I'm sure I'm going to love it no matter what though.
Also Chalamet is a perfect choice. He's got that young/old look that'll easily let him play Paul both younger and older.
I really want to be rich so I can fund Denis movies and give the rest for charity, funding important projects
I'm sure everyone here will be mad at me, but I've never read Dune and it sounds super boring. But Villeneuve / cast so far has me excited.
You should read it. I’m curious how long it takes before you say “wow, no one else should direct this. He was born for it.”
Now I REALLY hope this movie's a success Dave Bautista Lands ‘Dune;’ Reunites With Denis Villenueve On Legendary Epic
