I'm guessing that means no batman. Damn

Came here to say this. Much more interested in his own ideas than established properties.
Timothée Chalamet In Talks To Star In ‘Dune’ For Denis Villenueve And Legendary
After having watched Blade Runner 2049 and being blown away by how amazing it was I feel like if anyone can pull Dune off as a movie its Denis Villeneuve. I honestly just don't see Dune being the type of box office success it would need to be to justify it's budget and what it's going to cost. I hope I am wrong. I'm sure I'm going to love it no matter what though.
I’ll see it for Denis.
Jesus fuuuuucking Christ this movie is going to be amazing.
How was I not subbed to this already
Wow. She is fantastic in the MI movies. Really great news here. This is going to be special.
Yesss, she is amazing in the MI films
Oh, hell yeah
Also Chalamet is a perfect choice. He's got that young/old look that'll easily let him play Paul both younger and older.
I really want to be rich so I can fund Denis movies and give the rest for charity, funding important projects
How would he fare doing a Star War film?
I feel like that would be a waste.
Yeah Star Wars isn’t cerebral enough, and I’d rather Denis not be subjected to Star Wars fans
Do they have a planned release date for this yet? My guess is spring or summer 2020.
I'm sure everyone here will be mad at me, but I've never read Dune and it sounds super boring. But Villeneuve / cast so far has me excited.
It absolutely sounds boring. It is absolutely not.
Never read it or seen Lynch’s movie. Just excited for anything Denis.
You should read it. I’m curious how long it takes before you say “wow, no one else should direct this. He was born for it.”
Now I REALLY hope this movie's a success
