i mean the point of lawyers is to defend your client even if they're guilty lawyers aren't there to be humanizing lawyers are there to win
well yeah it's still a terrible statement that somehow manages to claim his victims are lying immediately after saying he doesn't want to blame them
i mean i'm nowhere near defending him, the fact that he made a statement through lawyers even after there's a ton of proof out already means that no matter what it was going to be a disgusting statement lawyers wouldn't let him not blame victims because otherwise that's confessing guilt
