She didn’t tour this album until almost a year after it was released lol. Is a single feature change going to make that much of a difference?

 

maybe that was the case in 2020. Abel is still bigger 2025, but Troye's remix with Charli was successful, and he's probably got a bigger draw now than he did then

While I agree, I do see how Abel could slide a verse in almost effortlessly with the production of Physical

 

fair enough. for the record, i wouldn't be mad about an Abel appearance either, lol

 

the crazy thing to me is first off that this remix has existed for years and no one had any idea, which leads to the obvious rabbit hole of.... how many songs/remixes exist that we will never hear

 

similar to artists like Charli and Lana Del Rey, i know there's a very fervent community of Dua Lipa fans who get their hands on a ton of unreleased material. iirc, when she and Miley did Prisoner for Plastic Hearts, they recorded a handful of songs (that later leaked) until they settled on that one. and i believe some of the songs on Club Future Nostalgia were remixes of other unreleased B-sides that were eventually leaked. there's probably a lot that'll never see the light of day

 

Oh boy I don't know if you guys ever keep up with leaks but at this point Dua is quickly coming close to Charli XCX and Kylie Minogue in terms of amount of unreleased songs out there now.

There are like dozens of Future Nostalgia cuts I play as much as her released material. It's insane she didn't pull a Carly by putting out a Future Nostalgia Side B. What we got instead was far from the best of the crop, as much as I like If It Ain't Me or That Kind Of Woman.

Wild that they never released the original Love Is Religion. While the latter is just fine after all, it made no sense to put out a remix and let the song that has been remixed in the vaults. Ah well.

people thought the tour flopped? It sold out almost immediately. The tour has been in the EU and Asia so far, both areas where Dua is much larger and RO didn’t perform as poorly. Looking at the US dates prices are still holding on secondary, but loooks like each show has 1,000-1,500 seats being held by scalpers on the secondary sites.
