I clicked on this thread after seeing a recent update in hopes there might be some rumblings of a Radical Optimism deluxe or part 2. Clearly not the case.

 

Settle down, kids, it's only a pop star.

Announcing that you've blocked someone is the same as responding to them, except then you close your ears and go: "blah, blah, blah! I can't hear you!"

 

Anyway listened to this again today and I really like it now

 

I spent like all of December with this album and I think it’s incredible

both the studio and live version

probably my favorite album of hers and I really like them all

 

That live album is a frustrating listen because I keep thinking "why didn't the studio versions pop off this much in the first place?" Especially when it comes to the album tracks.

I like the original album btw but I don't feel like Dua, Tame Impala & co got the best out of each other so I'm still left wanting more. It sounds harsh but what I mean is that it sounds sanitised, if that makes sense? It's a 7/10 whereas Future Nostalgia is legit one of my favorite albums of all time at this point.

Manifesting a future album where she really goes full maximalism, with live instrumentation all over it, extended breaks etc.

i've contemplated picking up the Moonlight Edition in the past for a couple of the bonus tracks. don't feel compelled to spin Club Future Nostalgia again. just throwing this listing out there for those who are interested, lol.

 

Oh yeah. Not a criticism of the post, just of Dua Lipa dipping into this for like the six or seventh time.

Dua gave a fan a USB with a Physical remix featuring Troye Sivan on it last night at her show and asked them to leak it lol

Physical should've been MUCH bigger than it was. hopefully this remix helps (even though i prefer the original).

 

Awesome remix, Troye always is a win.

I read a bit deeper, if true, then the story is that they made this remix and the label rejected it because they wanted The Weeknd on the remix and were working toward that, then the pandemic happened and it all fell apart

 

Troye is absolutely a better choice than Abel
