I'm always super late to the party with pop music but I listened through this whole record last night/this morning and thought it ruled for the most part. It was fun to read through the early comments of this thread and see people say Levitating should be a single, haha.
Saw her last night, she sounded amazing. She was able to sell out (or almost sell out) our new arena with only three weeks notice which is pretty damn impressive.
Or she did it all herself and they dropped the ball doing their job. Could be anything.... We may never know

I don't doubt Dua never heard it, but someone in the writers room ABSOLUTELY had. You don't just use the same guitar riff, vocal melody, chord progression, key, & tempo by mistake.
They have a Song Exploder that breaks down the song. Haven’t listened to it in awhile. But yeah, that’s just too close to be a coincidence.
