It's weird how people think she can just like log on to Spotify and Youtube and get rid of it, I imagine the whole thing was probably a label idea

 

people literally have no idea how anything works. yeah she's gonna be able to replace a guest verse on a song that has already hit number two on the charts without having to go through any label oversight and a long process to make it happen that no one with any power will even entertain the possibility of. in what world?

from what I have read, "Demeanor" was originally going to be a Dua Lipa song featuring Nicki Minaj. Obviously makes sense that it was supposed to be a Dua song, because like most tracks on the Pop Smoke album he feels shoehorned into as a feature more than anything.

exactly. In theory, she can still try to fast track a second remix with a new feature and potentially get press with it... which would probably work pretty well depending on the feature.... BUT the easiest thing is just to get streamers to replace the remix with the original and let it go. The song has already had such a huge run, she doesn't really need to try and keep it going
