Well, for starters, from her Wikipedia page: "Having sold over 70 million records worldwide, Minogue is the highest-selling female Australian artist of all time and has been recognised for reinventing herself in music and fashion, for which she is referred to by the European press as the "Princess of Pop" and a style icon. Her accolades include a Grammy Award, three Brit Awards and 17 ARIA Music Awards." Although, I think she may be popular in Australia though, it looks like she's only toured the states a few times in her career.
She has 15 studio albums, including one from this year, and I have honestly never known where to start so I always put off starting haha.
Might be showing my age a bit but Can't Get You Out of My Head was all over here too when it came out
I’ve view Kylie in the same way as Silverchair - huge in Australia, had her moment in the sun here in the US, but keeps a fairly devoted cult following.
I listened to Kylie Minogue’s album Fever after Studio 2054, I thought it was pretty good, and I do like the Real Groove song too. I’ve gotta dive in more
Fever contains her biggest hits so you might recognize some of them. It also feels like the older sister of Future Nostalgia at times. Start from here! And I do think Kylie is much more famous in the UK and Europe than elsewhere.
I listened to that new Kylie Minogue record a few weeks ago, it’s cool. I think Dua Lipa, Jessie Ware, and Roisin Murphy did a better job with that disco revival sound on their records from this year. Still fun
