I hear it a little bit, but they're nowhere close to that band in terms of talent and songwriting. The two are on completely different planets.
They're doing four dates with Aaron West. I had a feeling they were, but bummed it's only four dates.
This was pleasant. I can't say it made much of an impact on me but I was also multi-tasking and future listens could remedy that. The musicianship is certainly undeniable.
@Zac Djamoos wrote a great review for the record. props to him for getting me into this band in the first place. Dryjacket - For Posterity • chorus.fm
I like this album, was a little underwhelming though but I'm gonna give it more time and listens. Two Toasters is still the best song here, that whole song is gold.
Not sure if this helps but for me the vocals are second to the guitars on this, I spend most of my listens admiring the harmony and chord choices
Listening to this for the first time. I'd say it's ok. Nothing that makes me feel that I'd wanna revisit it but I didn't not like the record.
I randomly threw this on today, and I was really really impressed. Definitely will be listening to it some more.
Late pass here but this is about Have Mercy right? Heard that certain members weren't the best people but making sure DryJacket isn't the same.
This was fine, kind washed over me on first listen. Might return to it, there's a lot of other stuff catching my attention
This is pretty much where I'm at with it too. Definitely think it was passed, but it just passed through one ear and out the other.
