I'm about to day drink. My band won a huge contest last night and a celebration is in order.

I should probably come here when I'm drunk, but I always find myself stumbling into the Taco Bell thread instead. Can't imagine why that is....

 

I was supposed to go to happy hour for 2 drinks last night, but then a friend of mine who always goes hard as fuck was at the bar. So I ended up getting sloshed and ordering Hungry Howies later on in the night.

Tonight, I'm not drinking. Hahah.

 

i, too, need to take a bit of a break.

maybe 3 days heh heh

 

So I've had this bottle of vodka staring me down for a couple weeks..I'm going to partake and I hope that @thechrisformat will join me. ❤️

I'm sorry to hear that about your mom. If you need to talk about anything, feel free to PM. I have plenty of time to listen... I feel like work sucking is the common needle that draws most of us to this particular thread, haha (see what I did there - needle/thread?). I know, real stretch on that one. But seriously, fuck work. Only 30 or so years until retirement!

Anyway, life's been okay lately. Ups and downs like usual, but another day closer to the weekend is a positive in my book, regardless of what else went on during the day. I hate talking about me, so I'ma shut up. Besides work/mom, everything else going well with you?

 

You know I love hearing about you. PM me, too, if you need to. I'm always here. Want me to be 100% honest? I have been judged by my appearance so much these past couple weeks that I wanna drop dead. Blah blah blah..life is hard.

 

Tuesday night buzzed because Smirnoff was on sale at the grocery store. Hi everyone!

I was the best man for my buddy's bachelor party a while back and "ICE'd" him like 3 times in the first 15 minutes we were in our rental house... He wasn't thrilled. Haha.

 

Being "ICE'd" is the only time I have ever drank that shit.

 

What is being "ICE'd"? Man I'm really naive about a lot of things tonight.

 

I would also like to know.

 

I don't know if it's different elsewhere, but in PA, we would "hide" Smirnoff Ice's in cabinets, under blankets, etc. so when the person saw it, they'd have to chug it. Yes, it's a very dumb concept.

 

also, I take no credit for calling it "ICE'd". I thought by capitalizing ice, it'd sound more bro-ey.
