Why didn't anyone tell me how much fun the National Spelling Bee is??

 

I was too drunk for the drunk thread last night

 

Gonna drink tomorrow. What's another alcohol I can try if Jack Daniels is "doable?"

In other words, I'm looking to try something that I might enjoy more than Jack, which seemed typical - gross - to me.

 

Jim Beam? It's too sweet for me though.

Wild Turkey.

 

I'll look at both of those. I've haven't been sick from whiskey yet so I don't want to stray too far for now.

 

Jim Beam is awful. Not sure what you're looking for, but I dunno Makers Mark is pretty good

Now I want to buy liquor, great

 

I really have no idea what I'm looking for. Might just get Jack again.

I thought about Makers Mark, too. We'll see what I end up with tomorrow.

 

I had a coupla drinks last night...

 

Just got out of work and bought a bottle of Wild turkey and pizza. It's not quite the weekend for me yet but saturdays at work are super easy and I'm the one in charge so i'm gonna get weird with it. It's been a bad week/month for me emotionally and in life. Thrice and Hotelier will be played loudly.

 

That reminds me of a time when me and 3 friends played guitar and blasted music for like 8 hours. Had 3 pizzas, and a handle of Jack. There was no furniture in my house or anything cause it was the last day of our lease. We drank and ate everything and sang until our voices were gone. Woke on the floor to the owner knocking on the door. Said thanks for everything and dipped.

What a night.

The way you put it, it sounds pretty great.

 

It's the simple things. We literally only had music and alcohol and had the best time ever.

 

Our last day of our lease we sat around playing board games and drinking out of a vase, a measuring cup, and a bowl bc everything except that was packed and in storage units. Oh to be young again.

 

You can still do it.

 

Except it takes me 3 days to recover nowadays.

 

It's all about drinking excessive amounts of water. And pedialyte.

^He gets it. I have like a 32oz cup at work. I prolly fill it up 6 times during the work day.
