Yes or no is a must watch but only after you've introduced them to enough other Brennan episodes (do it before Samalamadingdong though)

I forget what they are called but the "I like my men like my..." episodes are great too and good early watches

 

I see that it's an hour long?? I don't know if I actually will watch tonight haha, maybe I'll watch half.....

 

I'm 15 minutes into it and Vic is truly insane

they're both on my list too, although they're maybe a slightly lower priority than a couple others. he's aware of Brennan being set up to lose. don't wanna give him too much homework, haha.

 

per the BTS video, the original cut was 2½ hours long. i think they made the right call cutting it down, but it would've been cool to see the rest of the extra footage (although they show the entirety of Jacob's travel film and Vic's play in the BTS video).

absolutely fucking wild way to start the season, good Lord. probably one of their best episodes

 

a couple of interviews with Sam have come out in the last hour or so teasing a bit of S8:

episode 2 is "Rulette 2"!

episode 3 is called "Night Shift", and based on what's shown in the trailer for the season, this one could be a lot of fun, given that it looks like it's got at least 6 contestants.

episode 5 is one Sam says might be his favorite episode of Game Changer, called "Count the Rice".

that and Ally's PSA made me audibly gasp/had me in tears. wild stuff. my partner hasn't seen much of Game Changer but walked away excited to watch more after that episode (even though i think that honestly might've been one of the show's high points, so he might have to temper his expectations ever so slightly)

 

Catching up on comments on this thread I'd have replied to.

Lisa's at her best on Make Some Noise when she's absolutely antagonistic towards Sam. It honestly reminds me of how Ryan Stiles used to be towards Drew Carey on the 90s episodes of Whose Line? Her appearances on After Midnight are also pretty cool.

In order to best appreciate Ross if you haven't yet, I'd recommend watching the "A Game Most Changed" episode of Game Changer (S5E5) with other members of the Improvised Shakespeare Company. That type of stylized, longform improv is just the bread and butter of the comedic stuff I love. His Make Some Noise appearances (The McDonald's Macbeth; Jack Skellington in Pi Day town) are also always top notch IMO. He's definitely an acquired taste, but his style I vibe with a ton.

 

the Who Are You Supposed To Be segment from i think the s2 finale of make some noise with zac josh and brennan where zac says "i'm the rest of the trophy" killed me the other day

Ross’s presentation on swing music revival in smartypants is top notch as well
