That's one of those bands that I wish we got more out of. That ep was really solid, no idea what happened after that. Morning Calls and Adelphi are a couple of others that I wish we got more music from. Hoping Something Corporate gets included but not sure if drive thru has the rights to those albums.
Seems pretty on brand for Drive-Thru to finally decide to get into pressing vinyl at the absolute worst time for pressing vinyl. At least these bad (or at the very least ill timed) business decisions aren’t hurting any bands directly anymore (hey, maybe some will even get a few dollars!). Though, it’s actually genuinely impressive they never sold their catalog to anyone.
In short it's the mainstream turmoil of running small ones to the ground as always, longest queues and delays, quality decline. But I'm sure they already have the product in their hands, probably that's why it's 26th anniversary instead of 25th ;d
I'll take one of The Starting Line - Say It Like You Mean It for sure. "Up & Go" is one of the best pop punk songs of the last 20 years, and I'm not sure it gets the love it deserves. Maybe I'm wrong though...
it’s also more expensive now than it ever has been before, as the supply chain is still pretty fucked (especially stateside). Though, they could have used the Czech or Netherlands plants.
I would hope these were all ordered in advance and the preorder wait won't be too painful. But I'm being optimistic... The 6-12 month wait times on preorders the past year and a bit have been painful!
The album is awesome.I find it funny that "Our Revolution" is a pretty obvious rip-off of Motley Crue's "Kickstart My Heart". I'll have to listen to the album again in a bit. Had almost forgotten about it.
Haha yeah I never liked that song. I remember that song getting a lot of hate when it came out and I feel like a lot of people wrote the album off because of it, which is too bad since that song wasn't really representative of the album
I'd add to the Halifax chat, I don't think I've ever experienced a more off-putting Warped Tour set experience than their frontman constantly criticizing the crowd for not giving them a stronger reaction. That was never going to result in what he wanted.
