Just started listening to his Zane Lowe interview

 

I watched that earlier, ha.

 

I think this album would work better if you cut most of the "summer" portion, "With You" through "Controlla

 

The only songs I don't care for much are "Child's Play" and "Views" but I'll still listen if they randomly come on

 

He didn't show up last time and he wasn't touring. I was devastated because 50% of the reason I went was in hopes to see them play Mine.

 

I feel the exact opposite

"With You" and "Still Here" are okay, but "Faithful" and "Controlla" don't really do it for me. I think the first and last thirds are infinitely better

 

first and last thirds are emotionally stunted, poorly articulated rehashes of his 2011 material's aesthetic (even in the instances where the production is improved)

I really like it too, but it's nowhere near as good as Take Care. Nothing Was the Same didn't come close to it either imo.

 

Yeah, Take Care is just really tough to beat in my opinion, NWTS same is probably second in my ranking after that, then So Far Gone then this this IYRTITL
